With a cheeky wee day off I managed a cracking 50 mile cycle from East Kilbride. I headed out to Auldhouse, Thorntonhall, Eaglesham, Whitelees Windfarm, Eaglesham Moor and down Newton Mearns to visit my pal Alan in Clarkston for some tea and Tunnocks Caramel Wafer. Headed back home via Eaglesham and Auldhouse. In between the su nshine and blue skies I had stinging hailstones, a knackered front derailleur cable and a puncture just to round things off. Still was a grand day out.
