RUNNING = 1615 miles/62 000 ft ascent; 80 runs & 20 races;270 hrs
CYCLING = 3413 miles/62 000 ft ascent; 55 cycles & 10 races;260 hrs
GYM = 80 sessions;60 hrs
HILLWALKING = 35 miles/2 000 ft ascent; 5 days; 17 hrs

TOTAL = 600 hours/5000 miles/126 000 feet ascent of exercise on 350 "occasions".

Westies Wednesday night curries
Lomond Hillrunners weekend in Glen Clova
Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow
Monday night runs with the Glasgow Hash House Harriers
another Wuthering Hike trail race in Yorkshire
running the Trotternish Ridge on the Westies Extravaganza in Skye
finishing the 53 mile Highland Fling from Glasgow to Tyndrum in under 11 hrs
a week later running the Stuc a Chroin Hill race
a week later cycling the epic Fred Whiiton Sportif in just over 8 hrs
abandoning the Scottish Islands Peaks Race and cruising down the Crinan Canal instead
a cracking 100 mile cycle with Damon and the Kelso Wheelers down in the Borders
the Slioch Hill Race on a blistering hot day
helping Manny Gorman on his epic record breaking Corbett Round
Moira and I doing the Newcastle Cyclone 100 mile cycle one day and a 78 miler in Yorkshire the next day
a lovely Hash weekend in Tayvallich
completing the Arrochar Alps race in stinking weather and outsprinting Davy Duncan
98 miles of the Three Shires Sportif with Moira in the fab Yorkshire Dales
bagging 9 Munros during the Glenshee Hill race in under 5 hours
a very very wet 105 mile Ken Laidlaw Cycle Sportif from Hawick
up and over the Cairn O'Mount twice on the bike on a Sunday afternoon
just missing out on a sub-6 hr Bealach Na Ba 90 mile cycle in horrible weather
a great 70 mile cycle with Moira from Dunoon to Tighnabruaich
a lovely weekend in the Lakes with the Fifers for the FRA Fell Relays
another great Scottish Hillrunners end of year social in the Cairngorms
yet another Westies weekend at Loch Ossian Youth Hostel
a wintry weekend in the Trossachs with Lomond Hillrunners
... and many runs, cycles and beers with all my friends

and, of course, CYCLING FROM TIBET TO NEPAL!!!!!!!!!
