CORBETTING IN GLEN AFFRIC

A wet and windy, but very enjoyable weekend was spent at the remote Strawberry Cottage in Glen Affric on 8/9/10 April. Myself, Sue, Gordon, Garry and Rosie did a wintery Corbett in Glen Cannich on the Friday, then headed up the rough track along Loch Affric and beyond to the cottage, braving a river crossing at the end. Gill and Arthur joined us later and all 7 of us managed the Corbett opposite the cottage on Saturday in yet more wintery conditions. Sue, Gordon and I managed one more Corbett on Sunday, yet again wet and windy but not wintery this time. A great weekend in a remote and spectacular location.
