DUMGOYNE IN THE DARK 2006

A smaller than usual bunch of "real Westies" braved the wintry wastes of the Campsies for a "run" up Dumgoyne and Garloch Hill last night. Hardly a need for a head torch, despite the lack of a moon.Plenty of snow and pretty deep and crusty in places. We were even visited by the local Police at the finish as someone had reported in the flashes from our cameras! A nice wee adventure. Lads Trip to Las Vegas 2001

Myself, Brian, Colin and Frank enjoyed a week in Las Vegas back in 2001. Weather was great and we visited the Grand Canyon which was fantastic; enjoyed a few rollercoaster rides; dressed up quite a bit; ate lots of buffet breakfasts and dinners; Colin went skydiving and survived and generally had a great time in this mad place.

The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

After we completed the Huayhuash Trail being fit and altitude accimatised we breezed up the Inca Trail to the fantastic Machu Picchu. It lives up to its promise. And to cap a great holiday we got a free upgrade to Business Class for the flight home!!
